One-way Columbia Street to get two-way bus corridor

  • The reworked street will connect Alaskan Way and the Third Avenue transit spine.

    King County Metro and the city of Seattle will turn part of Columbia Street from Alaskan Way to Third Avenue into a two-way corridor for buses in fall 2020. This is designed to get West Seattle and Burien riders to and from downtown when the viaduct comes down.
