$94M recycling and transfer station in Factoria replaces a 1960s facility

HDR designed the project to LEED gold standards. The flat floor allows for easier unloading, better traffic flow and shorter wait times.

On Monday, King County cut the ribbon — a recycled one, of course — for the new $93.6 million Factoria Recycling and Transfer Station on 15.6 acres at 13800 S.E. 32nd St. in Bellevue.
