$20M rehab for Tacoma theaters

TACOMA — The Broadway Center for Performing Arts will start construction in May on the first of three phases of a $20 million plan to renovate Tacoma's Pantages Theater and adjoining Theater on the Square.

The Pantages will be closed from May 14 to Nov. 5 for interior improvements that include new plaster, paint, lighting and seats. This phase was designed by BCRA and will be built by Korsmo Construction.
