$2M boost for training workers

SEATTLE — Three public partners are joining forces to bring more traditionally underrepresented people into the construction field.

King County, the city of Seattle and Port of Seattle will provide a total of $2.1 million for pre-apprenticeship and worker-retention services, and priority-hire projects.
