County breaks ground on $262M wet weather station in Georgetown

The station is designed to collect and clean up to 70 million gallons of wastewater a day, and protect the Duwamish River’s water quality.

King County Executive Dow Constantine yesterday led a groundbreaking ceremony for the $262 million Georgetown Wet Weather Treatment Station that will protect water quality in the Duwamish River.
