State adds 16,000 construction jobs

WASHINGTON — A recent analysis of Labor Department data by the Associated General Contractors of America shows construction employment in Washington state increased by 8.5 percent, or 16,500 jobs, in 2017.

Only California (75,500 jobs), Florida (28,600) and Texas (28,100) topped Washington.
