Viaduct closing this weekend

SEATTLE — WSDOT is closing the southbound lanes of the Alaskan Way Viaduct tonight and Saturday for road work.

Crews will realign the southbound state Route 99 detour near the stadiums as part of ongoing work to get the replacement tunnel open later this year.
