WSDOT will permanently close viaduct on Jan. 11

  • SDOT says it may modify or revoke certain construction permits during the closure.

    We finally have date for the permanent closure of the Alaskan Way Viaduct: Jan. 11.

    The new state Route 99 replacement tunnel will open around three weeks later, in early February.
