Sound Transit sees salvaging in its future

    SOUND TRANSIT recently demolished 16 buildings on Capitol Hill. The project, which makes way for the future Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, diverted about 90 percent of its waste from the landfill through separation, salvaging and recycling.
