Wires move off the viaduct to below ground

  • City Light also upgraded the wires and installed a new vault during the relocation.

    A new electrical vault was installed near Yesler Way in the shadow of the viaduct.

    Over the summer crews relocated the utility lines that ran along the Alaskan Way Viaduct to a more secure location under Alaskan Way.
