Cranes crowd Portland skyline as building boom continues; 10,000 construction workers needed

    Andersen Construction is building Heartline, a two-building project in Portland’s Pearl District. When finished next January, a 15-story tower will house 218 apartments and a five-story mid-rise building will have retail and office space.
