Island Hospital opened the Medical Arts Pavilion in January at 1015 25th St. in Anacortes.
The two-story, 26,000-square-foot building is on the east side of the hospital campus. It provides space for new services that were not previously available in the area.
The pavilion allows the hospital to expand its Cancer Care Center and bring Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation back on campus. New services include Wound Care, with 3,000 square feet for treatment and future hyperbaric chambers.
The $12.1 million project was financed through new markets tax credits provided by the National Development Council and Kitsap County NMTC Facilitators. Washington Federal Bank provided additional financing.
A video of the facility is at https://vimeo.com/38383075 or at www.dougscott.com under the "motion" section.
