Super Bueno

Super Bueno, Ethan and Angela Stowell's newest restaurant, is now open at 3627 Stone Way N. in the Fremont neighborhood.

Located in the ground floor of The Hayes apartment building, the restaurant serves Mexican fare, with a restaurant and bar. There is also a cafe for the morning crowd, serving coffee and pastries, that has an area to lounge and work, and sells to-go items for lunch.

The space has a large footprint to house two concepts under one roof. Several distinct elevations help to separate and define the cafe and restauarant. The floorplan is split into "rooms" of various sizes for flexibility, while maintaining the feel of a smaller restaurant.

The dining room seats 100 with an additional 16 seats at the bar and a private space for 30. The outdoor patio can seat 20 on the upper level and 24 on the lower one, while the mezzanine can seat 26.

The design evokes a seaside atmosphere, making guests feel like they are on vacation in the Caribbean or along the coast of Mexico, with rustic materials, beach tones and whitewashed wood.
