SEATTLE — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has signed a legal agreement with King County and the city of Seattle for a $7.4 million cleanup of Slip 4 in the Lower Duwamish Waterway.
The 1,400-foot-long slip, located about 3 miles from the southern end of Harbor Island, is heavily contaminated with PCBs and is part of the Duwamish Superfund site.
