Duwamish cleanup meeting Tuesday

SEATTLE — The state Department of Ecology and the Duwamish Cleanup Coalition invite the public to an open house and community meeting June 12 about PCB contamination in the North Boeing Field area.

A clean up project has been delayed due to concerns over possible re-contamination by PCBs. Representatives from Ecology, Seattle City Light and Boeing will explain and answer questions. The open house begins at 5:30 p.m. at South Seattle Community College's Duwamish Campus, 6700 E. Marginal Way S., Room A 127. For more information, visit http://www.ecy.wa.gov.
