Sims wants tolls to reduce solo driving

    King County Executive Ron Sims wants to fight greenhouse gases with tolls.

    The county could discourage people from driving solo by establishing distance-based tolls, Sims says in a proposed update to its comprehensive plan. The cost of greenhouse gas emissions should be factored into the price of the toll, Sims says.
