DDES wants new rules on emissions

SEATTLE — King County's permitting department is considering legislation that would allow it to deny building permits to projects that have “a significant, adverse impact on the environment due to their greenhouse gas emissions.”

The Department of Development and Environmental Services is seeking public comment on the proposal.
