$9.1M deal for Spokane wetlands

SPOKANE (AP) — State officials have announced a $9.1 million deal for a wetlands preserve along the West Branch of the Little Spokane River.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has negotiated options to purchase 2,772 acres north of Spokane in Pend Oreille County.
