After eight months of work, the Washington State Department of Ecology is nearing completion on a project to clean up Lewis County from the affects of last December's devastating flood.
In December, high waters flooded Lewis County houses and businesses. But it also carried everything that was in those buildings out to the rest of the county, sweeping thousands of full and empty containers along its path and leaving them in roadways, ditches and environmentally sensitive areas.
