Next year, both the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED certification system and the LEED AP exam are going to look completely different, following the biggest overhaul of the green building rating system in its eight-year history.
Scot Horst, chair of the LEED Steering Committee, said it's time for major changes to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program. “We've been hearing from our users for a long time that there are things that frustrate them... From my perspective, what we've done is create a more elegant system.”
