Engineering firm designs its own LEED platinum office

Rae Anne Rushing is president and CEO of the mechanical, electrical and sustainability consultant company Rushing/Blackbird.

Yesterday, the Rushing/Blackbird office space in Westlake received LEED platinum certification for commercial interiors. The project is unique in that the people responsible for the transformation — engineers, designers and sustainability consultants — all get to work in the finished product.
