Belfair sewer plant work starts today

BELFAIR, Mason County — Mason County officials are holding a ground-breaking ceremony today for the $40 million Belfair Wastewater and Water Reclamation Facility. The event will be held at 2 p.m. behind the Belfair Assembly of God Church.

The project includes a water reclamation plant, pump stations, and about 14,000 feet of gravity sewers, 19,000 feet of force mains and 5,000 feet of low-pressure sewer lines.
