ARLINGTON — Silicon Energy, a manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, has been sold to Spectrum Renewable Investments of Irvine, Calif., by its parent company OutBack Power Systems of Arlington.
Silicon President Gary Shaver said the sale will allow his firm to increase manufacturing, expand the product line and cut costs. It will also offer financing for solar systems.
