Pend Oreille PUD joins Energy NW

RICHLAND (AP) — The Pend Oreille County Public Utility District has joined Energy Northwest, the Richland-based consortium that operates the state's only commercial nuclear power plant.

The board of Energy Northwest approved the addition this week.
