McKinstry says energy-efficiency projects help it weather recession

McKinstry’s Innovation Center is an incubator for companies involved in green energy. It occupies half a floor in the company’s new building at 210 Hudson St.

McKinstry said it has been affected by the recession, but growth in the volume of energy-efficiency projects has insulated it from the worst.
