City moves ahead with $128M transfer station replacements

The $68 million South Transfer Station, shown here, must be completed at 130 S. Kenyon St. before work can start on the $60 million North Transfer Station in Wallingford. Construction on the south station is due to be done in a year.

Seattle Public Utilities has two design options for the $60 million replacement of the North Transfer Station in Wallingford and wants the community to help choose a final design.
