Vulcan installs 24 electric-car chargers

SEATTLE — Vulcan Real Estate announced last week that it has installed 24 electric-vehicle charging stations in eight of its buildings in South Lake Union.

The chargers are intended for short-term use, up to four hours per vehicle. An all-electric Nissan Leaf can go around 11 miles on a one-hour charge.
