Arlington's new park also treats stormwater from city streets

Stormwater from the city’s 276-acre Old Town used to flow directly into the Stillaguamish River, carrying pollutants, chemicals and pet waste with it.

The city of Arlington just built a 10-acre wetland that doubles as a park and treats all the stormwater from the city's downtown streets.
