Green leadership training Dec. 8-9

SEATTLE — A two-day workshop called “Leadership Skills for Green Building Advocates” will he held Dec. 8 and 9 at Islandwood on Bainbridge Island, sponsored by Emerge Leadership of Seattle.

It will be taught by Kathleen O'Brien, Ann Edminster and David Eisenberg, along with John Cunningham, a conflict resolution expert. O'Brien said making sustainable building the norm requires changes in thought and practice. The training is for business and community leaders at any level who want to learn how to create this change. There will be presentations, group discussions, nature walks and team activities.
