Turn your turkey grease into biofuel

AUBURN — The city of Auburn is partnering with General Biodiesel to provide an environmentally friendly way to dispose of used cooking oil from those who deep fried their Thanksgiving turkeys — a biodiesel recycling station.

The station is at Les Gove Park, 910 Ninth St. S.E. Grease and cooking oil collected at the station will be turned into low-carbon biodiesel fuel. Residents can pour their leftovers in a black collection tank marked General Biodiesel. It is available 24/7.
