City wants project planners to prepare for rising sea levels

Seattle officials predict that rising sea levels combined with high tides and storms will flood parts of the city within the next 40 years.

A map released by Seattle Public Utilities shows parts of West Seattle, Georgetown, South Park, Harbor Island, Interbay and Golden Gardens could be affected.
