$360M levy eyed for county parks

SEATTLE — King County Executive Dow Constantine is proposing a six-year, $360 million parks levy to replace two levies that expire this year.

It would fund maintenance and operation at parks, trails and open space, and acquire or protect about 2,700 acres for habitat and recreation.
