EVERETT — About $20 million worth of subcontracting work is expected to be part of the $50 million Phase C of Everett's water treatment plant project.
Imco General Construction of Bellingham was selected last year as the project's GC/CM. Subcontractor bid packages will begin to be released in September and construction will start in January 2014.
“This is a great opportunity for regional subcontractors,” said Imco President Tyler Kimberley in a release. “The GC/CM model provides a unique opportunity to partner with subcontractors ahead of time and to ensure bid packages are desirable and beneficial for all parties.”
An informal subcontractor open house will be held 4-6 p.m. May 22 at the Tulalip Casino Conference Center.
Mike Purdy is the GC/CM consultant.
