Makah dump site may join Superfund

NEAH BAY — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to add a dump at Warmhouse Beach on the Makah Reservation in Neah Bay to the list of Superfund sites. The comment period ends July 23.

Rick Albright of EPA's Region 10 Office in Seattle said this will help protect the tribe's treaty resources and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
