City reports on energy use for its downtown buildings

By JOURNAL STAFF

City-owned downtown buildings — City Hall, the Justice Center, Seattle Municipal Tower and others — are about 25 percent more energy efficient than the national average for their building types.

The Central Library is more than twice as efficient as other libraries across the country.
