‘Footgolf' course in Tacoma will be first in state, mixing soccer and golf

  • The cost of setting up the 18-hole footgolf course in Tacoma was about $3,000. There are 76 courses in the U.S.

    Players kick a soccer ball from tee to green, and then put it in a 21-inch hole. Don’t forget your footgolf apparel: knickers, socks and a cap.

    Reading a trade magazine three months ago, Chris Goodman, the course director at Meadow Park Golf Course, came across a game called footgolf. He immediately took it up with his head greenskeeper.
