$7M culvert and stream work designed to keep Thornton Creek from flooding

The new confluence of Thornton Creek will have woody debris and pools for fish habitat.

Seattle Public Utilities has closed a section of 35th Avenue Northeast so crews can start a $7.3 million project designed to alleviate flooding in the Meadowbrook area.
