County OKs $1.4M for landslide maps

SEATTLE — The King County Flood Control District will begin a more than $1.4 million, two-year project to update river basin landslide hazard maps.

The district wants to use new technology to improve the collection and use of landslide data. The project comes in the wake of the March landslide in Oso.
