$55,000 fine for barrel recycler

SEATTLE — The state Department of Ecology has fined Seattle Barrel Co. $80,000 for letting hazardous waste get into the sewer.

Ecology's fine augments $55,250 in penalties issued earlier this year by King County for related violations.
