$34M dump for low-level waste in Idaho

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — The company contracted by the federal government to run an eastern Idaho nuclear complex has awarded a $34 million subcontract to another company to build a disposal facility for low-level nuclear waste.

The Post Register reports (http://www.postregister.com/node/60332) in a story on Tuesday that Battelle Energy Alliance awarded the contract to Areva Federal Services, an American subsidiary of the French nuclear giant Areva Inc.
