EIS scoping for Hoquiam terminal

HOQUIAM — The state Department of Ecology and the city of Hoquiam are taking comments through Nov. 3 on a proposal to build a terminal to receive, store and ship bulk liquids at the Port of Grays Harbor.

This is the scoping period of the environmental review process so comments should focus on what to study in the EIS being prepared for Grays Harbor Rail Terminal, LLC, a subsidiary of U.S. Development. Permit decisions will be made after reviews are completed.
