City stops using bee-killing pesticides

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle City Council has banned the municipal use of a class of pesticides that has been linked to bee deaths.

The council earlier this week passed a resolution to eliminate the use of neonicotinoids on all land owned and operated by the city.
