SEATTLE — The King County Flood Control District has completed the first phase of a two-year investigation to update landslide hazard data for King County's river valleys and floodplains.
Earlier this year, the county began identifying potential landslide hazards along major rivers and significant tributaries. The data will be consolidated into a geographic information system database. No regulatory changes are planned.
