'Vertical farm' in Anchorage will provide fresh produce all year

    ANCHORAGE — Jason Smith is converting a part of the former Matanuska Maid plant building in Midtown Anchorage to be the home of Alaska Natural Organics, an indoor hydroponic growing operation.
