POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — A punctured train engine leaked 3,500 gallons of diesel fuel at an Idaho rail yard before emergency crews could contain the leak.
The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1TApwIv ) that the Union Pacific locomotive was punctured in a minor derailment in Pocatello late Saturday. None of the spilled fuel ignited, but it did need to be cleaned by a hazardous material team.
