Test finds lead at 2 Gig Harbor schools

TACOMA (AP) — The Peninsula School District has informed families that high levels of lead have been found in water fixtures at two Gig Harbor schools.

The News Tribune reports (http://goo.gl/iHkOPZ ) that the district sent a message to parents saying the problems were discovered Monday during routine testing at Kopachuck Middle School and Voyager Elementary School.
