PULLMAN — The Future City Competition, hosted by Washington State University on Jan. 13 in Pullman, will bring together sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students from Washington, Idaho and Montana.

The goal is to promote technological literacy and engineering, and foster an interest in math, science and engineering.

Teams that win at the WSU competition qualify for sectionals in Seattle. Winners go on to nationals in Washington, D.C., where more than $10,000 in prizes will be awarded.

For more information or to sign up to participate, go to https://futurecity.org. Registration closes Nov. 15.
