SEATTLE — Learn to reduce your plastic waste at a three-workshop series being held by the King Conservation District.
The free four-hour workshops will tackle topics such as marine debris, zero-waste practices, and how local organizations are responding to plastic pollution.
Each workshop will have a different focus and speakers.
The workshops are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 11, 18 and 25 in Seattle. The first one will be at Fremont Abbey at 4272 Fremont Ave. N. The last two will be at Ballard Homestead at 6541 Jones Ave. N.W.
