$6.6M to protect Peninsula forest

OLYMPIA — Nearly 7,400 acres of forest land on the Olympic Peninsula will be permanently protected from development, thanks to a $6.63 million conservation easement.

The announcement comes from the Trust for Public Land, Green Diamond Resource Co., and the state Department of Natural Resources.
