LA firm to open WeMo Labs here
SEATTLE — Belkin International, creator of a “home automation ecosystem” called WeMo, said it is expanding its Seattle-based software group and creating a new research and development team called WeMo Labs.
The Los Angeles-based company said the lab will work with the University of Washington to develop sensing and machine learning technologies for the “Internet of Things” market.
